<p>I'm not applying to grad school right now but I did have a question...
I'm interesting in eventually applying to a counseling or social work program. Is it acceptable to send in a reference from a previous employer for whom I worked for in high school who thinks incredibly highly of my ability with children? (The position is very applicable to what I want to do eventually)-- Is it a bad idea to use a reference from someone so long ago? (This would not be an academic reference obviously).</p>
