I got waitlisted for Stony Brook today and I’m thinking of just submitting to U Buff, the waiting list says they will notify people starting June, but I read on other forums some people got a notification in mid may and some people got off the waitlist soon ? So is it true that some waitlist decisions come back earlier than June ?

My son got off the waitlist in April 2 years ago. He was in the first batch accepted but he was also in the last batch to be waitlisted. He must’ve been just on the borderline.
Do you remember the exact date ? and did they give you a message that the waitlist results would come out in june ?
Late April. They did say that no decisions would come out until June
@lilaw88 do you know when he was waitlisted? I was waitlisted yesterday, so was he waitlisted around that time too?
