<p>Interesting. The stats at my school seem to be different than most of those on CC. About 20 people applied this year. Half that number were accepted (including me), 1-2 waitlisted, and the rest were rejected.</p>

<p>Preppy- in- pink: Actually, from WashU's point of view, that doesn't make sense. If they only accepted the best best candidates, they wouldn't have a big enough class size since many of the best apply to WashU as a safety school. What they're doing is trying to accept only those who will get in.</p>
