<p>I was previously accepted to SAS and Env in 2010 but graciously declined to attend an OOS school. Missed family, so grades suffered a bit frosh year. Want to transfer to Rutgers now. My college frosh gpa is the pits (1.8) but my HS GPA was good (3.7) with majority AP/Honors. SAT 1280 (out of 1600). </p>

<p>Once you are already in college, they won’t really consider your HS record anymore. I am going to say that it will be tough for you to get in. How many credits do you have?</p>

<p>Probably not with a 1.8gpa…that’s failing. I’d suggest maybe taking a year at a NJ community college to turn the gpa around then transfer.</p>
