Previously administered SATs vs collegeboard sat practice tests not administered?

So I'm making this thread out of a bit of frustration.
I took a practice test on the online course and got a 2220
M: 780 W:730 CR: 710
Then I took another practice test on the online course and received a 2250
M: 800 W: 710 CR: 740

I should say that my frist practice test in the online course (previously administered was a 710 for CR)

As you can see, I took real SATs that were previously administered. So then I decide to conserve those administered SATs for later and use SATs that only provide a score range
So I took practice test 8, and I must say the difference was "noticeable" as in, the math was a bit harder yet I managed to get -1 wrong, the writing and reading were definitely harder! Reading I got friggin 11 wrong and Writing I got 5 wrong! Should I take this with a grain of salt? I mean, I don't get why the score on this specific test differed significantly. I did the same test taking methods. And the essay topic was just weird. Someone please explain this to me! Whats the difference between previously administered tests and tests that have not been administered!!!

someone please answer… bumpppp

might be the grading curve. some tests are harder than others, but have an easier grading curve.

yeah, it’s probably the grading curve
