<p>$300...thats how much i paid first semester. WITH some used books.</p>
<p>but i also took a calc class, and the set of books cost $80. so your overall textbook budget may be lower.</p>
<p>here's a tip: buy from other bookstores unless you absolutely have to go to the nyu bookstore. the strand bookstore (largest used bookstore around) is on broadway near campus, and they have books for cheap. also consider not buying all of your books at once, unless your parents are paying for it. sometimes you discover that you don't need certain books/don't need to read them/don't read at all.</p>
