Prices Around Campus

I was just wondering if the prices at the small conveinence stores around campus and in the residence halls are more expensive then what they would normally be.

more expensive than where? New York City? California? Rural Michigan?

New York metropolitan area/California

small convenience stores scattered around campus are usually less than those you would find in dorms, union, league, but are still slightly higher than say kroger or meijer.

those stores in in leagues and union and dorms have ridiculously high prices, so try not to buy there

A typical student has several ‘Meijer or Target’ runs throughout the semester. This is when they typically stock up on food items and other necessities since its quite expensive near campus. Actually, since they’re setting up a CVS and 7-Eleven soon, it might not be too bad next year, but still… Meijer’s the place for low prices

Thanks, that’s what i thought. Ill just make runs for stuff

Is there any chance the CVS will be open for this school year? Where is it?

I have been doing most of my shopping at village corner and white market. It is convenient and up until recently they had everything I needed, but more expensive than it would be at similar establishments at home-- which is 20 minutes away in a suburb. I guess it’s just the fact that it’s downtown.
