Primary/Alternate Choice Questions

First question: So...who applied?

I applied primary to CAS for English, alternate to AAP for art.

Second question:

I've checked on the Cornell website, but they just aren't clear enough for me. Is it possible for a primary/alternate candidate to be admitted to two colleges in Cornell, or just to either the primary or the alternate?

Hollaback soon, I want to know before I find out on Tuesday (Cue Beethoven's Fate music--symphony #5, you've heard the tune).

You can only be accepted to one college.

Your application is only reviewed by your alternate choice if your primary rejects you and feels like you would be a better fit at your alternate college.

Then your application is reviewed again by your alternate choice.

I applied to primary to ILR (accepted), and alternate to CAS.

and your alternate college can only accept or reject you. so no waitlist possibility.
