<p>I am applying to an alternate school. I called them up, and asked them a similar question. They said that usually they do not accept people to the alternate school. That was because it is very difficult to prove that the alternate school “fits” you. However, if you believe that you fit that category and would like to go for it, I highly encourage it. I myself believe that I do fit both schools, and am thus apply to both. Either way, if you just want to see if you get in, the supplement at most is only 500 more words, so its not terrible.
