Which one would YOU recommend for ACT preparation? Willing to do private tutoring for best results. Does anybody know which one has a better track record in improving test scores?

I’m a little wary about Kaplan, since their AP Calculus tests had a ton of mistakes. Makes me think, “who the heck wrote these tests?” I would go with Princeton (although the choice is yours).

& Private tutoring partly depends on where you are. It’s usually quite expensive compared to other methods that can work just as well.

TPR is much better than Kaplan in terms of ACT.
However, Kaplan’s Reading section is slightly better than TPR in terms of strategical approaches.

new to all of this…

Revolution is pretty good, that’s what I had. I think it was cheaper too, but all in all I think any place is going to teach very similar stuff.

I have heard bad things about Kaplan. Princeton Review is the bomb.
