I want to be an RD person (but not really, accept me Pton!) if you all go with Lemonjello's suggestion.

This isn't really a roster....its like the Stanford ED Lounge, just a place for discussion and introductions.

So people, introduce yourselves (no stats please, this is not really a place to post stats, just chat since about 10%-11% will have the opportunity to meet our fellow cc'ers at P'ton.) and you're more than welcome to post your interests, hobbies, and prospective majors.

I live in NY (guess where? lol) and like to read the Financial Times in my spare time. I want to study computer engineering, and economics at Princeton and may do a double major (I think they allow those.) My other interests include the financial markets, history, mathematics (especially applied), and politics. I also frequently attend a fitness club, and play tennis.

hey count me in too:
im from india and want to major in politics and east asian studies at pton
its nice to see such bonhomie in this forum!:)

nycyuppie. I'm pretty sure that you can't double major at princeton because of the thesis requirement. However, they have certificate programs, which I think are similar to minors.

I'm from NYC (clearly) and would be interested in majoring in English, Politics, or Economics.

I'm applying RD. I am from NJ and plan to major in economics at Princeton if I'm accepted. I row crew, run track, play the sax and guitar, and surf at the jersey shore in my spare time.

I'm also a swimmer and a tennis player (although nowhere near recruit level for either). My favorite book a tie between Catch-22 and the Brothers Karamazov

I'm from Rockland, NY. I think my favorite book is The Metamorphosis. I play the trumpet. I'm not too sure about prospective majors. I really like science, but I like to write too.

...who cares?

Oh- I asked an admissions officer about double majoring and Princeton strongly discourages it because the thesis requires so much work...
so Lemonjello is right. You can certificate however.
