With Junior year winding down, the most angst filled months are yet to come :)

Time for all of CC's potential Princeton applicants to congregate.

I will apply. My application is not the greatest, but I’m a legacy. Maybe I will get in. Maybe not.

You’ve got plenty of time to strengthen your application and legacy certainly won’t hurt.

I’m applying.

This thread is creepy.

I’ll probably apply. Don’t have any SATs yet, but I’m registered to take them in June. I’ve got some of my country’s standardised testing already out of the way, so hopefully I’ll do OK… if all fails, I have somewhat of a ‘hook’, but the hooks don’t seem to work for internationals as they do for domestic applicants.

I would like to join please :D

I will be applying through Questbridge. Hopefully we’ll see each other on admitted students’ Days XD

Amen, mathematicism! :D

I’m applying…my ECs could use some work, but I’ll hopefully pull it together. Maybe.

I’m not expecting a miracle, though; after all, the only Princeton student I know of from my HS was both a legacy and a recruited athlete.

My school had 12 kids accepted to Pton this year, although 3 were recruited athletes/legacies. There is still hope for me :)

@Jersey13 - TWELVE? TWEEELLLVVVEEEEEEEE? I’m the only person in my schools HISTORY to be accepted. TWELVE??

I’m also 1 of 3 2400ers in my high school class, not including super-scorers. The competition in my HS can almost parallel that of CC lol.

Jersey, your school is insane lol.

Princeton seems to give a little bit of preferential treatment to NJ applicants, either that or NJ is just extremely competitive.

Pton Class of 2013, more Jersey natives than any other state (185)
[Number of Students in the Class of 2013 by Geographic Region](http://www.princeton.edu/admission/applyingforadmission/admission_statistics/map.htm)

Jersey13 another university that we will apply!!:DPrinceton is one of my top choices among Yale,Harvard,MIT,Caltech etc.

Good luck to all of you!!!:D

None of the kids in my high school have been accepted to Princeton or Harvard, Im hoping to be the first into Princeton. May God help me. I’m really fearful of my grades and gpa and I’m a late bloomer-found out about honors and Ap’s later than the other geniuses, but I did challenge myself and my sophomore year was all honors with Honor Roll and High Honor Roll and this year is all AP’s and Honors as well. I hope to make up for my GPA and transcript by excelling in the SAT I, ACT, Ap’s and SAT II’s. I will also have amazing essays since I have experienced a lot and have soo much to write about it. I’m also President of Model Un in my school and have some other positions as well. In addition, Im a girl and a minority (African American). Well I’ll make a thread soon, for you guys to chance me, but anyways I hope I get in. I will be really sad if I don’t. :/

Well, I was contemplating applying to Princeton for quite a while, but lately I’ve decided against it. I visited Princeton’s campus once when I was 12, and I remember writing in my travel journal at the time that I was not impressed. So I’ve always harbored mixed feelings about the school, and I just recently decided that I wouldn’t bother applying. That’s one less applicant competing in the 2015 pool Best of luck to everyone who WILL apply, though! :)

Prospective student heree. Likely Molecular Biology major.

And we also had around 12 students accepted last year. With 8-10 actually going.

Not sure about this year. Princeton does tend to like our school lol.

12 is a massive number, lol. Do you by any chance happen to go to Jersey13’s school? I think he also claimed that there were 12 kids accepted from his…
