@PrincPlease21 Nooooooo now the suspense will be official :(( (I seem to use that emoticon thing a lot but it’s so accurate)

I’m having ambiguous dreams about Princeton. I dream of clicking on the email and reading some weird message that doesn’t make it clear if I got in or not… Oh btw are the decisions going to be directly in the emails? because I have Gmail and you can read some of the message before you even open, which I do not want to do.

@HPClee I think Princeton will send an email telling us that results are out and direct us to the applicant portal login page. The acceptance/deferral/rejection letter will then pop up!!!

@Ambitious19 That sounds wonderful haha

@ScienceDaddy and they didn’t send you any mail? Which means they must not have started work on it. They mentioned on their website that you can send it late, and they would do their best to get everything done on time… I don’t think it’s too late.

@HPClee And if you see a silhouette of an orange tiger at the top, you’re in!!

@Ambitious19 Will the silhouette appear after we click on the results link? Like will it be on the same page as the results page?

@HPClee it will be at the top of your acceptance letter! lol I spent too much time last weekend watching Princeton acceptance videos

@Ambitious19 I am soooooo nervous for this thing. I don’t know what I’ll do if I get deferred

@HPClee @Ambitious19 You’re not the only one! I already what the letter looks like, what it contains, everything… Oh God! The thought of rejection in itself is crushing; if the real thing happens, I don’t know what will will happen to my poor fragile heart :-SS

I want to read stats of people who got in or rejected or deferred or whatever but my request to join the facebook page for applicants hasn’t been accepted yet… :(

@HPClee @LukeBK Princeton is my DREAM school and I will be devastated when I get deferred/rejected :’( I keep trying to emotionally prepare myself for the decision, but every time I think about deferral I want to start crying again Haha it’s such an emotional rollercoaster.

@yehbip I’m on the facebook page but I’m not an admin, so unfortunately I can’t approve your request! But honestly you’re not missing much; there aren’t any stats of people who got in/rejected. I’m not sure what the poster was saying yesterday about people posting in the facebook group because it’s really inactive.

@PrincPlease21 Ohh what a relief. Thanks for sharing; I think that finding out the exact date of the decision for sure will calm me down a bit…

@Ambitious19 ME TOO! hahaha trying to not get my hopes up

Is the facebook group name: Princeton University Class of 2019 Applicants? Because I’m in the group but there really isn’t anything related to Princeton… The latest post is about a TV show…

@Ambitious19 Just curious, do you feel your stats or your essays/extracurriculars are your strong suit on your Princeton application?

Just a quick question: would Princeton have already made their decision by now? I’m asking because I just sent in an additional letter of recommendation today through USPS 1-day mail. I didn’t plan to send it so late - I had intended to send this letter in the regular decision round, but the professor finished it early so I just went ahead with it.

@mcfrankshc No, by now they’ve not made decisions. However, by now they’ve screened off the first set, you know, the readers who give marks then pass on the higher marked ones to the committee for consideration. So, if you’re NOT in the screened off set, you’re safe, and they’ll just add the rec to your file.

Whoops. My reminder e-mail was in the spam folder. Rookie mistake on my part

So when they announce results we login in using the same info we used for the application tracking system?
