Thank you, @Ambitious19 and @emenya! I’m not going to bother with the arts teacher rec letter. @SamusScipio two other Ivies, Stanford (yolo), Carnegie Mellon, and a few libarts colleges.

LOL! Stanford Yolo!

Okay so I just the email about my princeton application account, and they said they have’t recieved my writing supplement. Does this take a while to show up, because I submitted it before the deadline, just a different times. Kind of scared :(

@emenya That’s strange…on your CommonApp dashboard, are there two green checkmarks in the Princeton University row? It’s probably just a delay on Princeton’s part. As long as you submitted both the CommonApp and writing supplement before November 1st 11:59 PM EST, you should be totally fine.

How far are you guys on your RD schools’ apps?

I received the email that invited me to register for the tracking system, but I still couldn’t log in. I double checked the pin as well. Anyone has the same problem?

And this is not mandatory right? It simply tells you the application status and admissions decision? But I’m assuming that we’ll get emails for those too?

@sr97329 It wasn’t working for me earlier today, but I checked just now and I was able to login.

HPClee it’s SO HARD to stay motivated for RD apps!! I’m slowly trudging through them but it’s painful :(

@Ambitious19 I feel ya. Struggling with the UC questions - they’re so different from others ugh

For me personally, UC prompts are the most difficult. It sucks because I can’t reuse any essays I’ve already written and I need to start all over from scratch! Are you from NorCal or SoCal?

Yeah thanks Ambitious, I just panicked really quick without reading the entire page

For RD, I’ve submitted most of them like UT, Purdue, and Alabama (already admitted). But I am literally grinding away at the other RD’s.

@justlyfe8 Finally someone gets my dilemma! The UC questions are really something else

@Ambitious19 not CA lol. And @emenya only have Pton and an in state one im so behind.

@Ambitious19 @hopefulperson
I’m doing a couple other ivies, UVA, JHU, and UMD as a safety.

Hello from California! Applied SCEA to Princeton, hoping for the best.

Anyone else apply to the School of Engineering and Applied Science?

Will you guys be withdrawing your regular decision apps if you get into Princeton early? I know I would in a heartbeat!

@sdiesschh I’m not applying to SEAS but it’s nice to meet another applicant from California!

@Ambitious19 I’m probably going to withdraw a majority, but I think I’ll still pursue Yale

@sdiesschh I did! What major? I applied CBE.

@Ambitious19 I’ll probably withdraw all of them except Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Harvard, and Stanford. (yay now you know what my other 2 Ivies are)

How do you withdraw an application?

Oh btw did anyone get a confirmation email for the PFAA (financial aid) form?

@HPClee technically I’m not “withdrawing”; if I do get in early (which is highly highly highly improbable) I will not be sending in my other applications. If you did send in your RD applications before your Princeton decisions and happened to get into Princeton, I guess you could call or email admissions to cancel your application.

@hopefulperson Awesome! I applied for CBE as well actually!

@Ambitious19 Go California! I’ll probably withdraw for all except MIT and Stanford.

@HPClee I got my confirmation email for PFAA as soon as I submitted all the information
