I'm applying to Princeton Restrict Early Action. I'm 9th in my class of some 300 kids, but my school is a pretty competitive one, and I have a 4.7 weighted GPA. I've taken a total of 10 AP classes between this year and last (4 Junior year, 6 Senior year), and have a the following SATs: 800 reading, 700 math, 700 writing, 770 Chem, 740 Math II. I've run track for 3 years and cross country for 2, and I've been recruited to some schools, but haven't heard back from the Princeton coach (regardless I intend to run in college). I'm also involved in numerous volunteer clubs. I want to major in Aerospace Engineering. I realize that Princeton is a reach for anyone, but I was wondering how competitive I am for admissions, and if it's a good idea to apply to engineering, or if I'd be better off just applying undecided. I'm a female, if that makes a difference, and I have a global idea of how the future of the space industry should be. Thanks for any opinions.

Also, any tips for the essays? How formal should they be?
