Princeton Admissions

I know that Princeton prefers the SAT I Reasoning Test, but what is their policy regarding the ACT? Will a good score on the ACT compensate for a slightly above average score on the SAT I Reasoning Test?

yes u can take teh ACT in place of the SAT I, but u still have to take the 3 SAT 2s

Oh ok. so if I take 3 SATs + ACT + Reasoning SAT I, which will they place more emphasis on?

3 SAT 2s are independently required

ACT vs SAT, whichever one u scored higher on they look at

thanks shrek

well, technically...if you take the ACT and the SAT, they're only going to look at the SAT since Princeton states that it will only take the ACT if you're applying to schools that either don't require you to take the SAT or don't take SAT scores at all (i.e. only ACT scores would show up in Princeton's box).

Wait... so is it wise to not write your SAT score if your ACT score is significantly higher? or is that a bad idea?
