<p>Yes it is late (the deadline was EST) no it won’t count against you. What’s Princeton gonna do, send your app fee back because it was a couple minutes late? You’ll be fine. There’s not even anyone there sorting the apps yet, as far as I can tell the only reason schools make their deadline Jan. 1 is to force everyone to get their school forms in in time. Don’t worry about it.</p>
<p>BTW shkaribu: this holds true for anything you turn in: it’s always set to the timezone of the recipient – whether it be your future credit card bill, grad school app, etc. It’s never your resident timezone. What’s the dude in New Zealand supposed to do?</p>
