Princeton and what else?

lol. Are you 8 Ivies kids asian? Personally, Harvard/MIT’s campus carried that “energy” that made me want to improve myself, but I liked Cornell better. Weird.

Its interesting how some of you applied to all Ivies, I don’t like all of the Ivy League schools (though I do think they’re great).
Although I’m not applying this year, the ones I’m looking at applying to are (in the order I like best):
Princeton, Harvard, Brown, Yale, Columbia
And I’m also keen on Stanford :)

Stanford has been my #1 choice (hence, I applied REA). However, Princeton comes in a respectable second. The reaches I also applied to were Harvard, MIT, and Carnegie Mellon (SCS). Cornell sent me a likely letter, which was surprising. I applied to only one safety (Texas), and I would have applied to another if I was rejected EA. I plan on visiting a few of the campuses I get accepted at to make sure I get the best picture of each before finalizing my decision.

I’m sure I will be rejected by HPM and most likely CMU too, but I can’t help but hoping for the best :)

Princeton became my #1 school throughout my applications process. I also applied to Harvard, Yale, and Columbia. I got into all of my safeties but would only consider attending one of them (I honestly hate the other four). And the one I would consider attending, American University, didn’t give me enough merit $. Grr. My reaches are Georgetown and UChicago, along with the rest of the Ivies.

I have a likely from Columbia (which surprised me, since I’ve done nothing spectacular in my 17 years). I’m expecting a rejection from G-town (my essay was something I wouldn’t even use to wipe my a$$) and probably Princeton, because my essay for them sucked eggs too (and was based off my G-town essay, horror of horrors ). And the sad part about it is that Georgetown and Princeton (and U of C) are my favorite schools. Harvard could reject me and I’d only cry for an hour, whereas if I received a rejection from either G or P I’d cry for about a year.

^ Aw, but there’s always a chance they’ll like something in your app so much they ignore the quality of the essay… besides, Columbia’s an excellent school, many people’s #1.
