Princeton application tracking system

Hi,

I submitted my Princeton application (both the CA & the writing supplement) last night around 6:00 PM. I've tried to create an account on Princeton's application tracking system (<a href="https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/register.jsp%5B/url%5D">https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/register.jsp</a>) with the email/pin I've put on my common app. However, every time I try I get an error message saying that "the email and pin you provided do not match what you put on the Common Application & Princeton supplement". I am 120% sure that they do match..

Anyways, I guess the real question is - to anyone who has already submitted their application to Princeton, how long was it before you received the confirmation email from Princeton directing you to their tracking system? I have not received an email yet.

(I'm only a little bit anxious because I want to submit an arts supplement, and the only way to do so is through their tracking website.)

2 days? Ill just be more patient. Thanks!

3 days for me.

@stringpaper,

I’m in the same exact position as you are.
I submitted mine on the 30th as well, and I still haven’t received an email detailing how to register.
I’ve tried like 15 times since two days ago, and it’s not working.
I also need to submit an arts supplement and this is getting me anxious.
Any luck so far?

It takes a few days and with the holidays it make take a little more time. If you haven’t received the e-mail within a week, you might send an e-mail to admissions to inquire.

Most of the pins I’ve received from colleges were college-made and not from the Common App.

Yeah it finally worked! Just wait a few more days.

I haven’t been able to register either, and it’s already past the deadline for the arts supplement - for those of you who are able to access the portal, does it still accept arts supplements? Could you post a screenshot of what it looks like?

Please… I submitted my app a few days late, so now I’m worried that I just wasted $65 for nothing and that Princeton won’t even consider my application

coolbeans - I think you should call up Princeton to explain your situation, because a week late is really quite a bit and your application might not be accepted. If they don’t accept it they should refund your money, but since apparently you originally thought you had submitted it on Jan. 1, I think you should explain that to Princeton and see what the school says. In addition, you need to ask them the question about the arts supplement directly.

Thanks midatlmom! I’m a bit wary of calling them because then they’ll know my name and app info, and I’m worried that they’ll tie it back to my app and that they’ll use that to judge me. But idk…

Do you think if you just send the application/supplement that the date received won’t be connected to your app? Midatlmom gave you good advice…don’t procrastinate any further.
