I got the Maryland Princeton Book Award last year. Does that actually help me as far as admissions purposes go?</p>
<p>If you received the award because you are the top academic student, that will help you in admissions. The award itself does not hold weight, as the winner is chosen by the high school, not Princeton.</p>
