PRINCETON chances!

i realize that your other forum didn’t go so well, so i thought I could help you out here. I agree that informal settings don’t require great grammar, but people on CC tend to be highly intelligent (you as well im sure) and somewhat judgemental. So my advice would be to always put your best foot forward here if you want help.
Ithink it is great that you are class president and a cheerleader, those are great features for your resume. however, your GPA is lacking I am afraid. Is there a chance you can add another AP class to next year? Because thenit will look more rigorous. A 27 is great for your first time, but its not princeton. Try a few more times, take subject test, and the SAT. Also make sure you write an excellent essay as well as proving that you have many service hours (big deal for top schools).
I know you say you care about prestige, and you said you didn’t think you planned on applying to safeties. This is a bad idea whether you have a 2.5, a 3.6 or a 4.0. Keep in mind colleges only look at your unweighted GPA. So get your test scores up and make sure you have a more rigorous schedule next year. You really, really need to find some safeties, otherwise you might find yourself in a highly sticky situation.
Do you have a preference in location?
