PRINCETON chances!

Could you please tell me how you managed a 27 ACT on your first try? How did your score breakdown in terms of Reading, English, Math, and Science? A 27 Composite indicates that you probably have a few sections over 27 while some below. Are you sure that this is a composite score and not just one your sub scores? No offense, but I don’t see how this is probable in your circumstances. According to one your threads, you will be a senior next fall, though you have yet to take geometry. Therefore, it doesn’t seem possible that you could’ve gotten anything above 21 in Math. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you scored a 28 on reading–at most-- since you received a B in Honors English and B- in Honors Literature: poor grades may have resulted from your laziness. Due the lack of coherency demonstrated in this thread, I’d predict a lucky 25 on English. Furthermore, your coursework reveals a weakness in science; hence, I’ll give you a 20 for that. Even then with all my inflated guesses, those numbers do not come close to a 27 average. On the other hand, I’ve taken it three times: 25 first, 25 2nd, and 27 3rd. I wouldn’t doubt the fact that you didn’t study at all for it based on your grades. Meanwhile, I’ve spent hundreds of hours doing endless practice tests and reviewing. My breakdown is 19 Reading, 27 English, 31 Math, and 32 Science. I’ll be honest; I feel disgusted with myself that you did equally as well as me without studying.
My transcript appears quite different than yours. I’ve taken 3 honors classes each during my freshman and sophomore years while all my non-Honors classes were purely state-mandated for graduation–no blow-offs. Junior year, I took AP Micro/Macroeconomics, AP Calculus AB, AP Chemistry, and two honors classes. Senior year, I will take AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC ,AP Physics C, AP English Literature and Composition, AP Biology. In addition to these courses, I will have 4 years of Spanish by the time I graduate. My academic cumulative Unweighted GPA is 3.926 while Weighted GPA is 4.278. I’ve never gotten a grade less than an A- in all six semesters so far. I am by no means bragging; there have been several other posters clearly more gifted than I. If you really did get a legit 27 composite on your ACT, then not only do I congratulate you, but I also question the accuracy of these tests as a measurement of a student’s academic abilities and achievements. Last but not least, I applaud your phenomenal ■■■■■■■■ skills.
