Hello All, I am a white male from new jersey that is really interested in attending Princeton. I've been reading this forum, and, seeing all these chances threads, have succumbed to making one myself. Any and all input would be great. Thanks!

Again, thanks for taking the time to look over my profile and responding.

My advice would be to wait about 2 weeks and come back and look at everyone who was accepted and judge for yourself.

Reasonably positive. Will depend on essays. In my non-expert opinion.

thanks alumother, anyone else?

NJ will help you and your stats look amazing.....its all luck from here.

thank insecure, i was wondering if princeton takes a lot of new jersey kids? Also, does anyone know what a 96 GPA would be equivalent to on a 4.0 scale?

There's no conversion between the 100 and 4.0 scales....either way a 96 is considered really good. I feel your pain, I wish every school graded with As and Bs

ok, thanks for the clarification insecure, does anyone know if its any easier/harder to get into princeton from new jersey?

Academics are pretty good, but your EC's are kind of boring. They're not bad; they just don't pop out. I'd say your chances are pretty good, but at the same time, a whole lot of applicants have stats similar to yours so you never know.

ok weasel, i know my extracurriculars arent spectacular, but i think maybe their wellroundedness might help

Yes, New Jersey makes it easier for you.....

thx for clarification insecure
