Princeton Chances

Princeton is the dream and I am wondering if I even have a shot at getting in! I want to study political science. I will apply regular decision and here are my stats

ACT: 34 composite (36 english, 35 reading, 31 math)
AP’s: I have taken four, three 4’s and one 3 and am taking four more
GPA: 3.83 UW, 4.23 W
Rank: top 10% UW, top 5% W
ECs: two years of dance, two years of badminton, NHS officer, three years of student council, NHHS officer, piano for 6 years, service trip to fiji, lots of church leadership and awards, and chosen as a delegate that visited china for three weeks

thank you (also any advice on how to better my chances/application would be appreciated)

Eventhough your stats are good but not good enough for that calibar of school. Sorry no realistic chances.

You could get in with those grades and scores depending on major and if you had minority status of some kind like female in engineering etc…

Well, it looks like you have a small chance on princeton because you are focused on EC that passionate you. As i read, the comunity service was the best choice that makes you happy, fit. Sometimes applicants shouldn’t have a dozen of ex.activities because the school may get bored reading all those ex.activities when applying…
Hey, can you chance me back pls

ECs are good and ACT is pretty good as well. However, the GPA makes it a pretty big reach, as most applicants will have perfect GPAs. However, if there are any special circumstances, please mention. Additionally, try to WOW them in your essays. Kinda what I tried to do for Cornell and I legit edited the supplement (under 600 words) at least 30 different times by the time I was ready for submission.

Good Luck!

Where did you end up getting in/going? Just curious
