Just read the entire article, and at the bottom it said,
“This article is part of The Daily Princetonian’s annual joke issue. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet.”

Just to let you all know, Princeton interviews are conducted by the local alumni associations. Many applicants get contacted, but receiving or not receiving an interview is not an indication of the quality of your application - it indicates the organization of the Princeton Alumni in your area. Also, interviews aren’t pointless, but they also don’t play a significant role in determining the outcome of your application.

I agree about the thank-you email; it really makes all the difference.

Also, I just wanted to recommend a really great Princeton blog if you’re looking for a more authentic representation of the school’s student vibe. The Princeton University Press Club’s blog, [The Ink](http://www.universitypressclub.com), has daily postings about campus goings-on, Princeton in the news, and all of the little idiosyncrasies that make Princeton such a great place. As an undergraduate, I use the site a lot, and I know that if I’d been aware of it during my application process, it really would have helped increase my interest in the school and vanquish all those pre-frosh fears I had.

Congratulations to all of you who were accepted to Princeton '14. If you are interested in visiting Princeton and haven’t already done so check out our awesome Orange Key Tour Service website and also visit use on preview day!
