<p>This is my first post ever! My son has applied to Princeton RD. About 2 weeks ago Princeton emailed his school counselor and copied my son in the email. They requested his AP test scores. Has anyone else had this happen? Do they do this for everyone? My son is so cool and calm about this whole college thing. I’m on pins and needles. </p>

Haha that must be so exciting!!! and no, that hasn’t happened to me because I take IB classes and I won’t be taking IB tests until May. </p>

It could be a good sign. They are “considering” your son and probably moved to the next round or to the committee. I’m speculating here. They noted that he took some AP classes, yet no AP scores reported. Most kids self report their AP scores on CA app. Good luck to your son on Thursday.</p>
<p>They asked for previous years results. His AP exams for this year aren’t until May. </p>
<p>One more comment and I will shut up…I’ve really enjoyed listening to everyone’s comments on here. I wish everyone good luck and no matter where you end up just remember that applying to these elite schools is an incredible testimony to your outstanding academic achievements. Keep those heads held high. </p>

<p>The same thing happened to me (requesting AP scores). I don’t remember reporting mine on the common app though, so that may be why.</p>
<p>I just realized that no matter what happens with the Ivies on Thursday, I still have to get up at 6:30 and go to work the next day. Life really just goes on, doesn’t it. :P</p>

<p>The decision will be released at 5 AM in my timezone. So I’ll just sleep and wake up to see the result (doubt if i will be able to sleep at all). </p>
