Hey everyone, I’m also an international hopeful! I am currently committed to McGill.
I sent in my LOCI via email a while back, is it okay that it’s not showing up in my application checklist? Congrats everybody on making it this far!

@Justin13601 committed to Uchicago but Princeton has been my dream school since day 1

@westcoast4
Did you get a response email saying it would be added? If so, you’re fine and I’m sure it got to the admissions team. If you did not receive a response and it’s been a while I would consider sending a follow up email. You can also directly upload a pdf of your LOCI to your admissions portal to be safe.

@westcoast4 Another option is just submitting it through the portal and then you’ll know for sure that they have received it

@Odysseus1 @Joancshen51348 I did receive an email in reply, but just wanted to double check. Thanks! :slight_smile:

@Joancshen51348 Same, but congrats on Chicago… amazing school.

@Odysseus1 jeez y’all stats are actually kinda insane… makes me wonder how I got waitlisted…

@Joancshen51348 I’m committed to Williams! Still holding on to hope for Princeton tho, but I’m staying positive because it’s a win-win in my eyes.

@sunlightsheen thats awesome a boy from my school is going and I visited a while back. I loved it but definitely a little small for me.

So Harvard’s yield rate went up this year while Yale’s presumably went significantly down (they took no one from their waitlist for the two years before but are now taking people off this year). I wonder what that would point to for the Princeton waitlist

Harvard ones are rolling out and I know like 5-6 that’s gotten off the waitlist. Not sure it means much for us since the 2 schools treat their waitlists very different but yeah.

Does anybody know how long you have to let the school know if you want to accept the offer from waitlist? Also, if Harvard and Yale has started to use waitlist I would think Princeton should let us know considering many students might be on HYP waitlist. I called on Monday and they said that Administration was all out of office in a meeting! Good luck!

@Mommaso sounds like they’re using the waitlist then

@Mommaso I’m pretty sure you get roughly around a week, several calls and maybe an email, before they move on. If you get the call and accept on call, I think they’ll update your portal right away and mail you an acceptance package.

Also Harvard waitlist is probably up to around 20 now. Keep in mind though, H sends out rejections to people on the waitlist as well, and notify acceptances in waves. It’s quite different from Princeton’s one. I also heard H has alot more ppl on their WL since they sometimes use it as a soft rejection.

has anyone received a waitlist decision - either a yes or no???
