@boundless I wouldn’t worry about it yet. Depending on your location it might take longer or never happen. My D’s interviewer sent an email and says he wants to complete the interview before Thanksgiving so he can send his report.
Hello! My D submitted SCEA around 11pm on October 31st and got an confirmation letter with portal login info sometime November 2nd afternoon. Have not heard anything about interview yet. Keep our fingers crossed!
@forgubmenot I am! The collegeboard website says my SAT score sends were fulfilled since the 28th.
No panic needed - this lag between the college board sending them and Princeton acknowledging receiving them is normal. We experienced the same thing and while it’s nerve wracking, it is also typical.
Had my interview yesterday. Went pretty well. Anyone else have theirs?
@IvyKid1 waiting for mine! The interviewer’s contacted me though…
Still haven’t been contacted for an interview!!! Anyone else?
I haven’t been contacted yet either. Also @IvyKid1 congrats! Do you mind sharing a bit more about the interview process - were they general interview questions (like “tell me about yourself”) or more specific to Princeton?
I was nervous but the interview was pretty chill. No crazy questions or anything-- they were general. The email said it’d be 30-45min but mine went for 1hr
@boundless I submitted 10/31. My interview is next weekend. Thank you!
PtonAlumnus wrote detailed advice about Princeton interviews in January 2011. If you search Alumni Interview Advice PtonAlumnus on CC, you’ll find the thread. (I’m on my phone and don’t know how to post links. Perhaps someone can post it?) Watch the You Tube link in post #4- it should relax you
Do they contact for an interview independent of when they get a student’s art supplement and SAT scores?
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to say good luck to everyone in the admissions process and can’t wait to hear how everyone’s interviews went! I also applied REA and still haven’t received an interview email.
Submitted on 10/31, haven’t heard anything about interview yet. We live in a small town, maybe there is no alumni here.
If it helps anyone, I submitted my application at around 8 PM on the 31st, and was contacted about an interview around noon of 11/2. A quick email conversation with my interviewer led to the realization that he is a graduate of my high school as well! Hopefully we will have lots to talk about.
The alumini is supposed to contact you through the same email that you received your confirmation email from Princeton with, correct? I haven’t been contacted yet and am getting a bit worried.
@garyasho I haven’t either. I think we’re fine
International applicant here. Anyone applying to the Engineering dept? Kinda wanna talk to someone else that is applying there Also didn’t get the interview email but do internationals usually get them?
@currypotato yup I live in India
@currypotato I’m an international applicant to the Engineering Department as well! feel free to hit me up. Most international students do get the interview email,so you may get yours in a few days.
