Georgia Tech
NC State

Thank you for chancing me, I'll try to chance you guys back.

Also, I am an NC resident.

Princeton (SCEA), Columbia, Duke - High Match/low reach you are in the running, but there is no such thing as a guaranteed acceptance

Hopkins and Carnegie Mellon - High Match

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Georgia Tech, NC State - Match

You have a solid app, grades, scores, and dedicated involvement are all there. Best of luck!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1567485-chance-me-duke-ed.html

Get your SAT up by 100 points and you could definitely be the first student from ur school to go to an Ivy. Right now Id say the elite schools you put are a reach. The 25th % at princeton for SAT is 2120 ([Ivy League SAT Scores - Compare SAT Scores for Ivy League Schools](Ivy League SAT Score Comparison for Admission)) so if ur below that ur chances are poor, especially as a white male from a new school. But with an extra 50-100 points youd have a much better shot

I think that he will send the 34 on the ACT, as opposed to his 2100 on the SAT. If score choice allows, of course. Still, colleges will look at the 34 over the 2100 if they need both anyway.

Yeah, I’m planning on using the 34. Some of the schools (like Carnegie) require all test scores though. So I’ll have to send both. Do you think they’ll just look past the SAT and look at the ACT?

Bump 10chars

Princeton (SCEA), Columbia, Duke -Reachh just cuz its dificult

Hopkins and Carnegie Mellon - low Match

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Georgia Tech, NC State - Match

Good luck man only thing i can say to help u…

low match as in easy to get in? right

Princeton: Reach

Columbia: Reach

Duke: Reach, but not as high of a reach as the above

CMU: High Match at Dietrich and Low Reach at CIT

JHU: low reach

UNC CH: Match, because of in-state

Georgia Tech: Match

NC State: Safety
