Princeton, Dartmouth, or Harvard for ibanking?

Which school is stronger? I'm going on revisits but I just wanted to see people's general impressions. Thanks!

Also, I got into top-rate undergrad business schools, but I would like to have a more liberal-arts experience, so I’ve narrowed it down to these three without specific biz schools. (Also add Duke as a alternate consideration).

Harvard>>Princeton>=Dartmouth>Duke

Harvard and Princeton are top targets on the same tier. Dartmouth and Duke are basically on equivalent tiers as well, but below HP. Within tiers, Harvard arguably has a slight advantage to P and Dartmouth may have a slight advantage to Duke, but the differences are marginal enough that you shouldn’t base your decision on them.

All the above schools are well targeted by banks, so see which one you genuinely like more. I’ve seen people blindly choose Harvard because of prestige and have a miserable time because they don’t like the culture of the school. You can get a great job from all of these schools, so pick the one you like the most.

The purpose of attending an elite school is so that you can get interviews. The thing to keep in mind is that 3.8+ at all these schools (among the most elite feeders to Wall Street) would get you an interview with almost any company. After getting the interview, it’s up to you to impress, and the name of your school wouldn’t help you much.

Harvard = Princeton > Dartmouth = Duke

Pick Harvard or Princeton if you are prestige hungry. Pick Dartmouth if you want to have more fun and still certainly contend for IB. Don’t pick Duke.

^^why not Duke if you equaled it with Dmouth, giants92?

Everyone: thanks for your perspective! I guess it kind of reinforced my opinions, but I will revisit and see where I am most comfortable!

Because Dartmouth is more fun.

Harvard > Princeton > Dartmouth = Duke

Harvard by a mile for banking. Also, more elite boutiques and buy-side firms recruit there.

Hey guys I basically have the same question, so I won’t bother posting another thread.

Basically, I want a liberal arts education, but also want to pursue a career in IB/Finance. My intended major for all the schools is mathematics while minoring economics, so the strength of those two departments are very important for me. (academics>first job prospect IMO)

I was considering between Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, and Amherst(Schupf Scholar, $25000 unlimited grant over 4 years from math department). Any input would be great!
