Everything looks mundane but solid: decent chance.

I think you have a good chance, but it would really help if we knew your weighed GPA. Sometimes that really helps. Your EC’s are great, and will speak measures for you I am sure.

Chance me, please: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/855358-what-my-chances-fordham-1-8-gpa.html</a></p>

I think you have good chances. I believe that your essays could really make up for your GPA and Act scores. Both are relatively low, but if your essays are excellent, I believe that you have a good shot

Weighted GPA is usually unhelpful; in tandem, unweighted GPA and rank tend to tell the most meaningful story.

What is Java? I think you have a good chance. Low reach.

^silverturtle, didn’t know that you patroled these forums as well. Good day to you.

Hello. Yes, I sometimes respond to chance threads. I oftentimes find that many posters fall into the habit of merely saying, for example, “Yeah everyone looks good, but you know that even 2400ers and Valedictorians get rejected, right? The Ivies are reaches for you. Good luck and, oh, please chance me.” :)

I think you have a fairly good chance. Princeton seems to weigh heavily on academics and then extracurriculars…and you have good stuff for both. Research really stands out too!

Please chance me:

state your weighted gpa before i make any judgement

bummp/////////////////////////////////////

Yet another “smart” person who knows that admission at Princeton is very random and competitive and that it is entirely possible to be qualified but rejected … makes a chance thread. :frowning: I never understand these threads.

Harvard - high reach
Yale - high reach
Princeton - reach
Stanford - match
Northwestern Medical Program - match

You are a high reach at all of these colleges. That you were a Intel Competition Finalist and you’re already published will definitely help you though. Also, your volunteer/shadow hours should help you for Northwestern HPME, be it’s still a higher reach than the other schools.

fail…

and while we’re at it

chances fail

^Rofl. haha

“INTEL COMPETITION FINALIST”

You previous guys have reading issues. This kid has his stuff down.

HYPSM- Match/ Low Match

Princeton-Reach

Good Luck!

Seriously, but why do people care about weighted GPA so much? It means absolutely nothing when applying to college, they don’t even look at it!

Right. He’s a ORM with average stats from New England, so clearly he should get into 3+ of HYPSM, especially considering the fact that applications dropped significantly to HYPSM this year.

/sarcasm

No offense to the OP, but read these responses with a grain of salt. Considering what some people have said, you might want to whip out the whole saltshaker.
