Princeton early decision?

I am going to be a senior this year and I am highly considering Princeton. I have several activities (which include leaderships roles) and rigorous classes. My problem is my SAT score. I was planning to apply early action originally, but then I received my SAT scores and only received a 2120. I still need to take SAT II's. So I was planning to the SAT II's in October and like I said, apply early action.

Due to my SAT score not being Princeton standards, I think I may retake the SAT in October (and take the SAT II's in December) and then just applying regular decision (I can't take them in November because I have something very important that day). So, I am leaning towards applying regular decision.

But the only reason I am still considering early action is because I know you have a better chance at being accepted (percentages are higher). But then I worry that my score still isn't high enough for early action acceptance.

What do you think I should do?

Just to let you know I am a white male and my family has an income of $90,000.
If I was to retake the SAT, I would be going for 2250+.

well to start bringing your SAt score to a 2250 + is quite easy it all depends on how much work youd like to put in to improve, id focus more on your ECs do they show a passion or dedication to something? have you focused on things outside of just school ? could you chance me back ? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1373471-chance-me-mit-ivies-will-sports-help-mit.html

The inflated rate of acceptance is only a facade. Early Action applicants tend to be on the stronger end of the spectrum (higher SAT scores, more certain of the strength of their application, etc). Therefore, their acceptance rate is higher. Princeton does not accept anybody from Early Action it would not have accepted in Regular Decision.

I guess you could submit your application, wait for the response, and then submit your new SAT scores.

What are your ECs and GPA?

Class rank or percentile?

No class ranks, but my guidance counselor told me I am in the top 5% of my class.
