But don't forget Yale, where the deferred get in at 15-16% and RD for deferred people is 14-15% versus 8% for Regular Regulars...in other words, to have a snowball's prayer at Yale, one MUST apply there early.<br>
Also, isn't Princeton predicting a 5% or so this year RD? Which means about 1% if you aren't a urm, legacy or building builder?<br>
I view my application fee simply as a donation my dad neds to call a charitable contribution at this point!</p>
<p>better chances or not, if the school just isn'y looking for your "type" of student in any given year- you're not getting in. Whether you apply ED or RD, you don't stand a shot :-</p>

<p>I wouldn't say that princeton is any easier than Harvard to get into early! Up to half of Princeton's early acceptees are "athletes" and "legacies", which makes the non-legacy and non-athlete pool quite selective!</p>
