Umm...
An interesting thing came up.
My SAT Reasoning Test results.
My first attempt.
Still, not on par with the schools I was thinking of.

CR 690, M 800, W 680 (70/8).
I mean, it's not like shocking horrible, but they're kinda not that flash at all.
Would people definitely recommend that I retake it again in December?
It won't help for the EA, but for the regular round.
Would this be a weak point for me, or like really an irrelevant point?
Cuz some people are telling me that since I am intel, they'll know that this is my first time and didn't really know that much about the test and stuff, and they'll take that into account, and others are telling me that since I am intel, they'll place more focus on SAT since that's the only thing that they can use to really compare me with other students on a scale that they're familiar with.

What do you think?

It was a bit of a disappointment.
I mean, I'll get over it, but still.

well i got the same as you for CR, and i'm not planning to sit for the SAT I again...I guess I'm hoping that they accept my scores on aggregate...heh

it's sad cuz ppl in korea or malaysia or whatever have higher scores than me and they dont even speak english...oh well

I think you should still go for harvard EA ...i mean your international olympiad thingoes im sure will be looked on more favourably than SATs..

I'm still planning to go for Yale EA, even though my SATII arent that good...

And yet, Byerly, Alumother and f.scottie, all of the brains for the brilliance of those companies hail from good ol' Stanford University.

It's really hard to make an argument that Google and Yahoo! aren't closely associated with Stanford, considering Yang's seat on our board, the new partnership with Google, and Brin & Page's various appearances on campus.
