<p>Ok. So I just did the Freshman combo thing. They sent an e-mail to me and said that it'll be activated within 2 days. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh</p>
<p>is that necessary to see the page? it says "The facebook is now open to all undergraduate students! Use your netid and ldap password to sign in and check out the site."</p>

you'll find that you have to order this thing!</p>
<p>For us it became free about halfway through the year. I guess they're trying to see if they can't make money off it again at the beginning of the year this year.</p>

<p>I agree though, I really don't think it's worth 50 bucks to subscribe to the facebook. As a student, it should be free for students... they're making money off our faces, not the profs :D</p>
<p>Uh, it's definitely not worth it. $50 for a frickin' facebook?! I could go to Starbucks or Best Buy many times over with that change, thank you much.</p>

<p>i don't think you need to pay...just for the actual facebook book. right now, the system is down because they're in the process of putting all that info up...at least that's what i think.</p>
