Princeton Freshman Wants to Rule the World

What a proclaimation! or more like a proclaimation of naivete?

A true ambitious individual doesn’t go about ranting on his ideal to be ruler of the universe. He does it in his heart and through solid actions, step by step.

Also, one more thing I don’t get is, why would you want to go about breaking rules and laws? Such opportunity costs spent simply for the purpose of “breaking rules” sounds ridiculously inefficient, when you could otherwise spend the time to further develop yourself within the current structure.

No I don’t think it’s satire. Not one word of it is satire. In fact, almost every successful youth possesses a variation of that kind of fanatic optimism. Unfortunately, the author seems to have forgotten that a true Princetonian becomes successful not based on acquiring unilateral interests, but on a solid foundation of cooperation and friendship with the minds of the World. Good Luck.
