<p>The first time i took a practice test without knowing anything, i got a 1700. Ive been studying, and i got an 1870 on a kaplan practice test. (idk if kaplan is accurate). anyways, my main goal is 2100. I plan to take my frist real exam in january and i hope to get around 1900s or hopefully maybe near 2000 if i can relle get myself to do it. My scores are usually around:
M -650-680
R - 600-630
W-650
Ive been using PR and im trying to raise my CR score especially to high 600s or 700. i usullay get all the vocab ones rite give or take one or two. the reading si the problem. Will the PR help me raise my scores in all sections or is it a waste of time to use this book? Ive done some sections from Kaplan before, and PR seems harder. </p>

<p>the only book that will give you the full experience and real questions written by Collegeboard is the Blue Book (Official SAT Guide)</p>

<p>yes, i have the blue book too. I will sit down and do the full exams during the last 2-3 weeks b4 the test. but then, as of now, im using PR cuz it teaches me waht i did wrong. Therefore, hopefully, i do well on the BB tests and the real exam, because i will learn. My only concern is that, the PR will not actaully help. I do not know how effective it is, or if it is effective at all if i want to get my scores up to aroun high 600s or 700</p>

<p>I personally did not like the PR book for any SAT section. I preferred Barron’s prep book.</p>

<p>Pr is more difficult than the actual thing.</p>

<p>In my opinion a score of 1850-1950 on PR is equal to about a 2100 on the real thing. (This is not necessarily true in all cases)</p>

<p>It’s not a good idea to do “third-party” tests… you might as well do at least 5 tests from the Official SAT Guide before the test (and don’t wait 2-3 weeks before cracking open the book because I HIGHLY doubt you will have enough time to do those 5 practice tests, review over what you got wrong and learn new techniques, and at the same time juggle the classes you are taking).</p>

<p>i hope pr is harder lol. also, i will be able to finish all the tests in pr and 3 tsts in bb by section. then on the last 2 sats before the 23rd, i will do the whole length exams. i still need to use pr because there are a few questions i need help on. </p>

<p>can anyone help? for the math, i always have like 3 questions that i get wrong, but when i look at the answer/explanation, i wanna slap myself. same with cr, the ones i get wrong are the ones when i narrow down to two choices(the passges)</p>
