Princeton Interview Mishap

So this is a bit of an awkward situation that I hope someone can give a bit of advice for. I had applied to Princeton regular action and been contacted for an alumni interview for this past Sunday. In my city Princeton interviews essentially are done all in the same day with all students meeting at one school where they are randomly assigned to an interviewer when they arrive. I had shown up and been paired with my interviewer, who was an interesting character in the briefest description. Long story short I quickly realized I wasn’t in a normal interview and stopped trying to talk about myself or college, and he was more than happy to continue talking about:
-His theory that the Ottomans were the true perpetrators of the Holocaust
-How he left the US the week before he had to defend his doctoral dissertation to attend Carnival in Trinidad before subsequently disappearing for five years
-His unwavering belief that he is the reincarnation of an Egyptian pharaoh (most likely Ramesses II)
-The existence of the 10,000 year old city of Atlantis in the Bermuda triangle, which he believes was the first society to acquire nuclear weapons, and that there is undeniable proof that the Grand Canyon is the result of their nuclear testing

This went on for about an hour and by the end of it I had maybe spoken for maybe 5% of the total conversation. I know not all college interviews have to follow a specific format, but I honestly felt like I was listening to an Alex Jones podcast rather than talking to a Princeton alumnus. Being completely honest, I wasn’t that stressed about the result of the interview, so I had been fine to go along with his conspiracy theory lecture and laughed it off otherwise, but when I told my parents what had happened they expressed concern for the other students who were much more invested in the interview and that I should report my situation to the Princeton club that organised the interviews. I don’t know if this is a big enough reason for me to complain about what happened, but does anyone have any similar situations or any advice here?

Perhaps you could contact the Club anonymously if you feel uncomfortable identifying yourself and let them know about your experience.

If you have a strong guidance counselor at your school, you should discuss with them and have them contact Princeton / the club.

Are you sure it was really a Princeton alum? Maybe it was an imposter pulling a prank?

Well that would be rather Surreal.

I think you know what you must do…
