<p>Hello, I really would like to go to Princeton to major in math due to the many great mathematicians at Princeton. But how qualified are most of the math majors at Princeton? Are they all USAMO winners and IMO qualifiers? I'm afraid that I won't be able to keep up if I do get in and major in math. =/</p>
<p>You can succeed in the honors courses without being a USAMO winner. Without even qualifying for that matter. I have an A- in 215, and I never made USAMO. There are some IMO kids here, but they won’t be in your classes, so it doesn’t really matter.</p>
<p>Maybe not in Math 215, but wouldn’t they be a “problem” in Math 315 or Math 323?</p>
