Princeton midterms are scheduled after winter break. However, I heard that they are now before winter break. Is this true??? What are the dates for midterms for Princeton?
Midterms (middle of the term/semester) are usually during the middle of the semester and don’t have set times. If you’re referring to final exams, according to Princeton’s academic calendar, the final exam period is December 9th-15th, with their winter break beginning after that, I’d assume.

Yes, I meant the final exams. Sorry about that. I searched up online that these final exams are after winter break, but I recently heard that it has been moved to before the break.
Yes, for decades (if not longer) final exams for the fall semester were held in January, but starting with this year they are in December. The decision to make the switch was done a few years ago and isn’t related to the pandemic.
Personally, when I was there in the 1980s, I liked having the exams in January – it gave me extra time to study. But I think that was a minority opinion.
