Princeton Music Supplement

Been thinking about sending in a music supplement for Princeton, but I have a couple questions that I’d love some clarification if you CC people could spare the time ^.^

  1. Are we allowed to send in multiple supplements? (I'd like to send in both flute and piano)
  2. Do we send it in as an audio or a video? I saw on their webpage that it said digital audio file, but if it were simply audio, wouldn't it be insanely easy just to fake a supplement...? o.O
  3. I saw that Princeton would "preferably" have a Bach Prelude and Fugue, Mozart/Beethoven/Hayden sonata, and a 19th/20th century solo piece, but how strict are those guidelines exactly?

Thanks in advance!

Whatever you do definitely follow directions

That’s… really unhelpful ._. I’m asking because I’d like some clarification on their directions so I can follow them to the best of my ability.

-I got accepted EA and I also turned in a piano supplement and a woodwind supplement. I called the music department (since they’ll be the ones listening to your supplements) and they told me to go ahead and submit both.
-I sent mine in as audio files.
-For the piano one, they gave me permission to use a rather unique performance I had, but I would go ahead and call the music department. They’re really eager to help!
Basically, for any questions you have for music supplements, calling them would be your best chance. Their number is listed somewhere on the music department page. Good luck!

Okay, thank you very much for the advice!

My daughter was accepted EA and submitted two files (piano and violin.) They were both audio files. Definitely call the school for questions. She submitted supplements to a few schools, and there were a couple that were somewhat confusing.
