Princeton or Harvard for undergrad?

Hi I was recently accepted to both Harvard and Princeton this past week. And I’m so confused! Both are amazing schools but it’s difficult to make a decision. I want to become a doctor. So is Harvard or Princeton better for this field as an undergrad?

Neither is better than the other. They’re both terrific schools.

Ask yourself: do I want to live in an urban setting (Harvard) or more suburban/country clubbish (Princeton)? Proximity to NYC or Boston? Do you like the concept of the eating clubs?

Another thing to keep in mind: because Princeton doesn’t have a grad business program, med school or law school, some say it tends to be just a bit more focused on undergraduates.

But that’s debatable, and really, you can’t go wrong with either. I’d go with whoever made you a better offer financially, and your personal preference in campus look/vibe.

Congratulations.

I agree with katliamom but want to put more emphasis on the financial aspect - If you go into medical school it’s going to be very expensive. Save your money while you can.

Thank you so much, I will be visiting both this April so I can see how each school is. And the good thing is that they are both offering the same amount of money!..but that still makes my decision harder in a way, but thank you!
