for Economics?

Along with MIT, these are the top three econ departments (Chicago is great but the faculty is getting up there in age and Stanford isn’t as well-rounded). Pick the school where you see yourself happiest.

I would choose Princeton. Greg Mankiw (google him) currently teaches introductory Econ at Harvard but posted on his blog a few years ago that Princeton would be better for undergraduate economics.

I think overall the student experience at Princeton would be better, as well. I hope this has changed: [Harvard Students Less Satisfied Than Peers With Undergraduate Experience, Survey Finds | News | The Harvard Crimson](Harvard Students Less Satisfied Than Peers With Undergraduate Experience, Survey Finds | News | The Harvard Crimson)

I’m deciding between Yale and Columbia (waitlist at Princeton) so you might want to choose Harvard to open up a spot for me lol :)

My favorite Princeton video:

We had one each at Princeton and Harvard. I’d say go for Princeton for undergrad, then try for grad school/MBA at Harvard.

Princeton students seemed happier, more sociable, and a tighter community. Of course this could all be because they ate Hot Breakfasts!! :)

Thanks you guys! What about in terms of the alumni network and employment after graduation?

How happy are HYPSM alumni with their undergraduate experience?

Average Alumni Giving Rates

61% - Princeton

36% - Yale
35% - Harvard
35% - MIT
34% - Stanford

There is something incredibly special about the Princeton undergraduate experience that can only be described by attending this great institution.

Eh, go to Princeton. But I’m biased. Harvard is cool too, they have Med Fac: [“Doctors” of Destruction | FM | The Harvard Crimson](<a href=“http://www.thecrimson.com/article/2005/4/14/doctors-of-destruction-harvard-has-always/]"Doctors”>The Harvard Crimson)

That’s a way better secret society than the ones at Princeton that just make you run around the golf course by the Grad College until you throw up.
