Wow guys, I would be lucky to get into any one of the schools you listed lol. If you don’t get in to princeton you still have such amazing options
Congrats!
I am a homeschool applicant, so that affects some things. At Northwestern I didn’t have the correct subject tests so I don’t count that as a reject as much as a non-eligible. ;p
Stanford SCEA – rejected
Cornell – accepted
Notre Dame – accepted
Duke – accepted
Vanderbilt – accepted
Williams – waitlisted
Georgetown – accepted
Brown ???
Princeton ???
Surprisingly not very random results so far. The two hardest schools I’ve heard back from rejected and waitlisted me. That can’t bode well for Princeton, but I think I’ve gotta good shot at Brown. Call me crazy though :-B
@FiveFactorial Stanford didn’t love me, either. Welp, there’s always grad school. @hellobeautii You’re literally a goddess. Teach me your ways.
Yeah I was somewhat surprised after a rejection from Vanderbilt. I mean I can’t say that I expected to get in because I know how selective it is, but i felt like it was my best chance at one of my reach schools. So i don’t really feel qualified anymore
My main acceptances were UNC, Babson, NEU w/ deans scholarship, and Vandy
Waitlisted at Colby and WUSTL
Rejected at USC- This is really confusing but w/e
Middlebury - Accepted
Boston U - Accepted
Vassar - Accepted
Duke - Waitlisted
Stanford - Waitlisted
WashU - Rejected lol
And waiting for Ivies + NYU. Should probably have applied to more “match” schools. And fewer “reaches”…
Also really regretting not applying to any of the UCs as I now wish I had a place at at least one school in Cali in addition to all the cold-weather East Coast schools…
@812pacificon yeah I haven’t gotten my decision, and neither has anyone in my school, which we all find really wierd. I know they didn’t reject all of us so we are confused
I reckon the waitlists had to do with my financial need (my parents won’t be able to pay much at all)…still, it’s a good sign that there are no rejections thus far!
Waiting On:
Tufts
Princeton
Harvard
Yale
Dartmouth
Columbia
UPenn
Brown
Okay, I took the lists from the first 15 or so that showed their Accepted, Waitlist, Rejected schools. Here is what I have amassed.
Average # of Colleges applied to:10.5
Average Acceptance Rate of colleges already accepted to:25%
Average Acceptance Rate of Waitlisted colleges: 15.3%
Average Acceptance Rate of Rejected colleges: 11.6%
You can see how your WL & REJs line up with everyone else here. Not that it makes any of us feel better or worse, but most of us are trying to see if we fit in.
