Princeton RD 2020 thread

@FiveFactorial I’m going to play Dolphin Olympics 2, 2048, or whatever mindless game will distract me.

Lol I never made a countdown, why would I want a countdown to my rejection lol

2019 here wishing all of you good luck and good vibes! to answer a few questions, Princeton sends their letter through Fedex, not UPS, so don’t worry. Also, Princeton DOES NOT send an email telling when decisions are ready; you should check at the time that they previously told you. Please feel free to message me in the (less than!!) hour before your decisions come out, should you have any questions.

We appreciate the wishes @CanadianCutie123

Princeton 2021 hopeful here. Good luck everyone, I’m nervous for all of you!

Last half an hour… Keep your chin up irrespective of the results.

can someone post the link for the portal??

Because this is what the site I found says and I’m confused b/c there is no way to log into the portal??

“Admission Decision
Applicants will be able to view their decisions beginning at 5 p.m. EDT on Mar. 31.
To view your decision, you must first register with Princeton’s Application Tracking System. If you have not already done so, please register now with Princeton’s Application Tracking System.
Please note: Your username and password are not the same as your email address and PIN.”

@CanadianCutie123 Thank you so much. I’m glad it’s not UPS!

How do I find my pin … ??? I used the Common App and cant find it anywhere

For those of y’all accepted, I am so so so proud of you. You were accepted into a class already making history!!
To those waitlisted, I hope you end up at whichever school is best for you!
To those rejected, don’t feel badly, the numbers were astronomical this year!

Who here received an email for a missing pfaa application? We will finally see whether or not there is correlation!!

This is going to be painful even though I’m expecting it

I agree @anon9362

Same @anon9362

@Californian10, i certainly don’t want to get your hopes up, but every one of my friends who got that email in the class of 2019 was accepted.

Acceptance rate for RD candidates was 3.8 percent. That is absolutely ridiculous. Almost inhumane. Lol. http://dailyprincetonian.com/news/2016/03/u-admits-6-46-percent-of-applicants-for-class-of-2020/

You can’t possibly feel bad about yourself if you don’t get in. It’s really just the luck of the draw. Basically - did the admissions officer reading your app have their coffee that morning?

For a laugh, read this instead, actually: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/30/opinion/college-admissions-shocker.html

I can’t stop imagine myself opening an acceptance letter even though I know it won’t happen :frowning:

I don’t know why I’m nervous when I know the results will be no :frowning:
