There scores whoop ours? What are you smoking?

their scores are as big as a kangs wang (if you follow what im saying)....princeton SUCKS

for a marsupial who can jump like 6 feet in the air and has a 4 foot tail, i would assume a kangs wang would be amply endowed.....but that ok, WE'RE THE CLASS OF 09 AND A HALF

actually right now you are the class of 05....so stop lying about your uhh year

(jk).......

lolol i just thot i'd comment on how the title was funny.

If their scores wh00p3d j00rs th3y w0|_|l|]||'t be h3r3.

well people! i was just commenting on the objective fact that GENERALLY the ed pool to princeton is usually a bit stronger than upenn. dont burn me in effigy or anything.

Ok, but this isn't in general. Penn has a nursing school as well. Also, Penn admits a lot more URMs and Legacies than do other top schools and these bring its scores down.

panda - you just sed "this isn't in general" and followed that up by a generalization: "URMs.....bring its scores down"
^
Not the best way to prove your point

ill pretend to be a great writer named frank here, and say this...
many many times when i am at penn, i just think to myself how the fk did these people get in....(until i find out theyre all legacies) anyway, i maintain that penn college is not a ridiculous school to get into, whereas princeton is, and while penn kids are smart, by far and large it's not a class of prodigies

Dost: Sorry about that. I was a little unclear. I meant "these forums" are not applicants "in general." My point was that those statistics, which are statistics "in general," do not represent these forums.

I don't think any college is a "class of prodigies" (and that isn't even pertinent to the point of contention because I would argue that how much of a prodigy one is and his SAT score share an extremely weak correlation -- if any at all!). Any college has students that would make one wonder: "How in the hell did these guys get here?" To have a discussion about prodigies, however, we're going to have to quantify "prodigies" and then decide if that discussion is even worth having.

What I will say, though, is that Penn offers admission to relatively large proportion of applicants who, without a "hook" (a hook operationally defined as legacy, URM status, potential/actual donor, etc.), would not get into Penn. Penn also has a Nursing program. My intent it not to demean that program in any way, but to point out that it does seem easier to get into than other programs. I would argue that these factors, the former probably more than the latter, bring down Penn's scores (and the difference isn't even that much).

pand - its all good, i wasnt offended or anything - im white lol.....i just thought id point it out so you wouldnt get s.h.i.t. for saying something like that later....i actually agree with your points

Well, I was just being like that frank someone spoke of earlier.

its so good to see that my apple of discord has been sown here.

I was angry with my friend
I told my wrath, my wrath did end ... or something like that. WERE YOU REFERRING TO THE GREATEST POEM OF ALL TIME?
