How grades can grades be before Princeton rescinds admission offer?

a general rule of thumb is that they cannot go down more than one point in your gpa. for ex. if your gpa was 4.1, you cannot let it go down to 3.1...so not that hard to do

and no Cs.

wow, so you're saying a C is an automatic rescind?? That seems kind of harsh... since getting rescind word nearly ruin a persons life, and a C could easily happen to anyone....

someone told me that they got straight A-s until their second semester of senior year then had an A, two B's and two C's and they knew someone who went from straight A-s to three B's and both didn't have a problem or get rescinded.

sorry i didnt mean to imply an automatic rescind, but if your getting cs you will get a warning.

and the guy on facebook that had two cs is meg whitmans son. (just in case if you dont know, meg whitman is ceo of ebay and whitman college is named after her)

OK, here's a really paranoid question. At my school, you can take classes Pass/Fail second semester senior year, particularly if you're an IB Diploma candidate and you need to spend more time studying for your exams than doing worksheet-esque busy work. Therefore, I'm taking AP/IB Calc BC and AP/IB Bio 2 pass/fail, which just means that I get a P or an F on my report card and my actual letter grade isn't factored into my GPA.

We have three six-week grading periods in a semester, and then our final, which comes out to four individual grades that are averaged for the semester grade. You only need 2 Ps (passes) to get an overall P for the semester. Unfortunately, I completely messed up in Calculus and might get an F this 6 weeks. However, I will DEFINITELY have a P for my semester average, which is the only thing Princeton will see, since they'll see my end-of-year grades, which only has my semester grades on it.

I know this is a really paranoid question, but do I need to be worried? I will pass Calculus and they won't be able to see my numerical or letter grade, but I'm just really worried. I'm trying to pull my grade up and it's about a 50-50 chance that I'll pass for this six weeks. I've never failed a class before!! This is really unlike me, but it's just been a crazy month...I don't know. Somebody reassure me...

i guess i, like j07, am just looking for reassurance too. gettin into pton was one of he best days of my life lol, and i wouldnt want to F up, i MIGHT get a C+...

For soph and junior year i had 11As 1B
my midyear grades were 4 As and 2 Bs,
my final grades might be [3As 2Bs and a C] or [3As and 3Bs] <-- crap teachers...

unlike most other pton people, it's not like i'm falling from straight As, my midyear grades were mediocre too [freaking crap teachers!!!]

Do you think we need to take AP's if we listed them on our app? I REALLY don't want to.

I'm taking all but one of them. I had planned on it, but it's just not going to work out.
