Princeton Review 11 Practice Tests for the SAT and PSAT, 2012 Edition

Is this a good book to use for the SAT? How should I use it? Is the PSAT practice test in the book also helpful?

There are some errors (but there are errors in the regular PR book as well lol), but it’s good practice. Some people may say otherwise and justify their opinion by saying that the best way to practice is to take tests made by collegeboard, but I disagree.

I’ve been taking PR practice SATs and over the course of June, I managed to bring my score from a projected 1700/1800 to a 2300+ (and I was scoring in the 1500s before that–my current projected score excludes the essay of course).

If you already have the Official SAT Study Guide 2nd Edition, then I’d recommend getting that. I personally find PR’s test most similar to collegeboard’s.

Thanks for the reply. I have both the PR and Blue Book. I just started studying for the SAT two weeks ago and my first practice SAT score was 1800 and I am aiming for a 2100+. Can you maybe give me some tips about how you were able to raise your score by so many points by using these books.
