Well, according to Princeton Review, USMA isn't on the top ten "Stone Cold Sober List." It's interesting that USNA ranks highest among service academies on the list too. Hmmm, wonder what methodology researchers used to compile the list, e.g., looking for people in uniform at happy hour, wild parties, liquor sales in New London, etc. And on which list would USMMA be??? :)

p.s. We know someone at Wellesley and she did some hard core partying in high school...

NAVAL ACADEMY COLLEGE RANKINGS ANNOUNCED

ANNAPOLIS, Md. The U.S. Naval Academy has been ranked the No. 3 Best Undergraduate Engineering program in U.S. News & World Reports Americas Best Colleges."

The Naval Academy was also ranked No. 4 Best Aerospace Engineering Program; No. 9 Best Mechanical Engineering Program; and No. 6 Best Electrical Engineering Program. U.S. News & World Report bases their rankings upon the judgments of deans and senior faculty familiar with the specific programs.

Academic Dean William C. Miller said, We are pleased that U.S. News and World Report has confirmed the Naval Academy's reputation as an excellent engineering school. However, the U.S. Naval Academy is first and foremost a leadership school, preparing young men and women for positions of responsibility in the Navy and Marine Corps. Midshipmen acquire an excellent foundation in math, science and engineering along the way, but every graduate must be prepared to take his or her place among the future leaders of the sea services."

I could be wrong (frequently wrong, never in doubt!), but didn't the U.S. Military Academy rank No. 2 as Best Undergraduate Engineering program in USN&W?
