So what's the story with the Princeton Review SAT book I just bought for a whole 20.00. Is that not a good study guide? I would think if it shows good strategy tips it would be. Now I'm starting to wonder what's a good help book? My S is a junior and is just starting to study for his test in May. Any thoughts out there? No, I'm not paying for a tutor. To me it's a matter of discipline. 1-2 hours a week with a study guide. His practice test was mid 500's on all 3. To even be at 600 on each is reasonable. Not looking for a Ivy education here. Is the Princeton Review guide ok??

What are you talking about?! Those aren’t free unless you torrent them. And if you torrent them you won’t be able to study as effectively.

Well is the Barron’s book any good? In a nutshell what’s the best one?

Getting any one is better than none. Princeton Review book is fine, and Barron’s too. Kaplan is more on the easy side. Try your local library. Mine has a collection of almost every publishers’ test preparation/practice test books. I pay nothing (except for a few dollars of late penalty).

the person who my post was to deleted his/her post…

Great, thanks for the tips.
